The History:

Modeling in Health Research Center was founded at Kerman University of Medical Sciences in 2009, receiving formal approval in December 2010. Affiliated with the Research and Technology Vice-Chancellorship, the Center aims to foster a robust statistical and mathematical research environment. Its primary objective is to advance the design and analysis of research across diverse fields within the health sciences.

Objectives:

Through the application of conceptual, mathematical, and statistical modeling, the Center aims to deepen the understanding of contemporary and emerging complex health issues. This endeavor encompasses both fundamental and applied research.

Mission:

The Center leverages mathematical and statistical modeling to enhance the understanding of current and future complex health issues. This knowledge is critical for policymakers in developing effective solutions to address present and future health challenges. In addition to conducting cutting-edge and foundational research in the health sciences, the Modeling Research Center is committed to fostering the growth and education of interested students and researchers. The Center's mission is twofold: research and education.

Research Department:

The research department at the Modeling in Health Research Center spearheads the development of novel research initiatives. This includes the application of statistical and mathematical modeling techniques to address complex health science challenges.

Education Department:

Complementing its research efforts, the education department fosters knowledge dissemination. It achieves this by providing training in diverse statistical and mathematical models, including those developed and utilized by the Center itself. Through this comprehensive training approach, the department aims to equip researchers and students with the skills necessary to implement these models effectively, ultimately expanding their application within the field of health sciences.
